Koerner House Foundation Work 2008
This boiler room in the basement was dug in the early 1900s but left the exterior foundation on brick with no support (see right side of room under window). A concrete wall will be erected in front of the rebar and backfilled to prevent the earth wall from moving. It will also serve to support a new floor beam in the second room on the main floor.
